What information do we collect online? How do we use it?

Merchandise Orders
When you first place an order on our site, we ask you to provide personally identifiable information by filling out and submitting an online customer profile form. This information includes your name, mailing address, telephone number, shipping address(es), email address, a password, and your credit card number and expiration date. We use this information to process and fulfill your order and to notify you of your order status by email. When you return to the site and place another order, if you use your password or provide other key, personally identifiable information, we use this information to provide you with access to your customer profile and order information. We save the address(es) you provide for shipment and, when you place future orders, we provide the address(es) to you as a selectable list for your convenience.

This site is not intended for use by children. we will not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information submitted by visitors to the site who are under the age of 16.

Sweepstakes and Contest
When you enter a sweepstakes, contest or other promotional feature, we typically ask you for one or more of your name, address, telephone number, and email address, so we can administer the promotion and notify the winners. We notify winners and obtain an affidavit to verify each winner's eligibility and to obtain consent to post each winner's name, and state and city of residence. We also send you information by email on upcoming events, new products and services, and special offers we think you'll be interested in. However, out of respect for the privacy of our visitors we provide the option to not receive these types of communications.

Surveys
From time to time we administer surveys on our site. Our surveys are anonymous and do not request personally identifiable information. We collect your ratings and evaluations about products and services we provide, and post aggregate information from these surveys on our site. We also collect information about your characteristics and interests, so that we can tailor our site and our products and services to meet your needs and wishes. We offer you the opportunity to use a nickname for our chatrooms, bulletin boards and product reviews.

Additional Ways Information Is Collected Online

One of the ways Instant Murals Design, Inc. collects information online is through the use of "cookies." How do we use email?

We send one email message to confirm each order you make, and we occasionally send you other email messages containing information specifically relating to your order (such as shipping delays). We also send one email message to each winner of our contests and sweepstakes.

When you first place an order and set up your customer profile,  We will also send you promotional emails if you enter a sweepstakes, contest or other promotional feature on our site.  Your customer profile also provides you with the ability to opt out of promotional messages.

How can you elect not to receive offers and email?

If you prefer not to receive promotional emails regarding upcoming events, new products and services, and special offers, you can make the appropriate selections when you set up your customer profile.  Or you can return to your customer profile to change your selections at the Update Profile form on our site. Also, every one of the promotional emails we send provides you with a way to opt out of receiving further emails.

How can you verify and correct personal information?

You can check your personal information in your customer profile by navigating to Update Profile on our site. If any of this information is incorrect, you can make appropriate changes. However, you cannot delete your customer account information entirely. If you have any question about the accuracy of your personal information, you can contact us online, or by email, telephone or mail.

How do we protect our customers' information?

Instant Murals Design, Inc. is committed to online data security. Although total security does not exist on the Internet, we take reasonable steps to work towards assuring the secure transmission and storage of your information. We utilize industry standard efforts, such as firewalls, Secure Socket Layers and encryption software, to protect the transmission of information between your PC and our servers. We store information relating to our customers on servers that are kept in a highly secure environment. While we use Secure Socket Layer encryption to protect sensitive information online, we also seek to protect your information offline by only allowing certain authorized employees to access your information.

Our site contains links to other sites.  Instant Murals Design, Inc. is not responsible for the privacy practices of these other sites. We encourage you to be aware when you leave our site, and to read the privacy statements of each web site that collects personally identifiable information.

Also, please keep in mind whenever you give out personal information in a public online forum - for example, in chatrooms or bulletin boards - that information can be collected and used by people you don't know.
